Sometimes in life we face rejection, sometime even by family members, one must remember, Jesus was rejected twice by His kinfolk. Jesus adapts a common O.T. proverb to explain His rejection. “A Prophet is not without honor, except in his own country. So when rejection comes your way, just remember you are in great company, Jesus Christ. It’s like the reading from 2 Corinthians, where Paul’s suffering is serving a higher purpose in the plan from God. Grace was given to Paul, to endure these trails, we also have trails in our own life. These life experiences shows that God gives us what we need and not always what we want. Amen. Good day and God Bless Deacon Archie.
