COVID-19 MASS PROTCOL

Mass Ushers would like to thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we continue to have Mass under mandatory COVID-19 guidelines from the Diocese of Belleville.With religion classes running, Sunday Mass is often beyond capacity while Saturday Mass seems to have more vacancies. We do not want to have to turn attendees away, so please call the parish office to cancel your Mass reservation if you cannot attend, before 2:00 p.m. on Friday.Or you may call or text Andrea Duckworth 618-214-1275 or Robbilyn Taylor 618-267-1398, to cancel your reservation only. To help us ensure that we utilize all available Church capacity, please arrive 5 minutes prior to Mass start time to ensure your reserved seat.

Cleaning out flower beds or gutters, power washing your house or washing windows, cleaning out garages or barns, painting or pruning. Whatever you need help with just let us know. CATHOLIC RELIEF SERVICES COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND

This weekend we take up the CRS collection. It is an opportunty for you to help improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people around the world and here in the United States. Click on the document below to read more about CRS and a letter from Bishop McGovern.




RESERVE YOUR DAY TO ATTEND MASS

It is important to call or email office to reserve a day to attend mass, before 2:00 p.m. Friday. 618-648-2490 OR catholic@hamiltoncom.net. If you leave a message, please leave your name, number, and day you want to attend.





FOOD FOR FAMILIES

Our parish will participate in the Food for Families Program, during Lent. This program collects food pantry items and monetary donations for local Food for Families sites. We have two locations close to us, St. Joseph in Benton and St. Mary in Mt. Vernon. If you want to donate, there is a collection tub located as you come into church and in the upstairs hallway of the hall. Below are list of items they suggest on donating:

Canned meats/fish

· beef stews

· ravioli, spaghetti/meatballs

· chicken and dumplings

· soups & chili

· tuna, salmon, sardines


Staples

· flour

coffee (ground & instant)


Canned fruits & vegetables
